Regular readers will be aware that the ASX Governance Council has issued the proposed 3rd edition of its Corporate Governance Council Principles and Recommendations for consultation (noted by us HERE).

Overall, the 3rd edition is an improvement, although we have some reservations (noted in our initial article and also HERE). These reservations formed the basis for our submission to the Council on the guidelines (see HERE).

Good points have also been made by others. See all submissions HERE. The closing date for submissions on the proposed 3rd edition Principles and Recommendations was 15 November 2013.
