In this special alert, we summarise the recent release of the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) draft legislation. The draft legislation was released just prior to the weekend. It governs accountability and remuneration for financial regulated entities alongside APRA's CPS 511. Unfortunately, the two regulations do not entirely complement each other, with potential for inconsistency and confusion.
