Also known as a ‘Zero Exercise Price Option’. A specific variation of options: conditional equity that converts to shares or sometimes cash of equivalent value at zero cost upon achieving performance hurdles. It was first introduced into an ASX 20 company by one of Guerdon Associates founders in 1997.
