The general term for shareholders having the right to vote on executive remuneration. In Australia and the US, this vote is technically advisory (non-binding), but the Two-Strikes Rule in Australia gives it teeth. Some countries have a mandatory binding vote as well (UK, Switzerland, The Netherlands).
