Total employment cost (TEC)
Another term for Total Fixed Remuneration (TFR) and Fixed Annual Remuneration (FAR) and Fixed Remuneration (FR). Guaranteed annual remuneration contingent on service (hours worked). This is the sum of base salary, mandatory superannuation contributions, and any non-monetary benefits (like motor vehicle allowances) and any associated fringe benefits taxes.
