A problem for many ASX listed company boards is that they are often caught unawares by changes in proxy adviser guidelines. This is because updates to the guidelines are usually published well after a company has determined its remuneration policy. In fact, many boards have also signed off on their remuneration reports, so are unable to directly address any new issues arising from guidelines published after year end.

 

In an attempt to address this, Guerdon Associates has arranged a symposium with ISS, at which ISS will present its new guidelines “hot off the press”.  These are the guidelines that will be in effect when ISS reviews company remuneration and governance in the 2014 reporting season.

 

The symposium is open to company directors and institutional investors only.
